NATIONAL CATHOLIC BUSHFIRE  APPEAL TO TAKE PLACE ON AUSTRALIA DAY WEEKEND

 Special collections will be taken up at Masses on Australia Day weekend to support communities affected by devastating bushfires. The Bishops announced that money raised from the collection will support the Vinnies’ bushfire appeal.

CATHEDRAL CAR PARK TO CLOSE TEMPORARILY FROM 29 JANUARY

The Cathedral car park will close on Wednesday 29th January, to allow completion of landscape and construction work to take place in the Cathedral grounds. It is expected works will be completed in the second half of 2020. MORE

CLERGY APPOINTMENTS 2020

Bishop McKenna has announced clergy appointments to take effect from 15th March 2020 The appointments can be found HERE>

 DEACONS TO BE ORDAINED TO THE PRIESTHOOD

Bishop Michael McKenna will ordain Deacons Dong Van Nguyen and Karl Sinclair to the priesthood at 7.30pm on Friday 21st February 2020 in the Cathedral of St Michael and St John. MORE>

SAFE CHURCH AWARENESS TRAINING

The aim of the Safe Church Awareness Training is to equip individuals in safeguarding best practice. More information and registration details can be found HERE>
