Minister of the Word: Diocesan Pilot Program mid-February 2023
The ACU Centre for Liturgy provides parishes and deaneries throughout Australia with specialised training and formation workshops, as well as a range of short courses. Their Liturgical Ministry Training Ministers of the Word program is designed to support the ministry of Lector, a ministry that requires skill and practice so that the word of God is brought to life in the liturgy. This course is an interactive workshop that provides current and aspiring lectors with techniques for effective proclamation.
This interactive online training program is conducted over 4 weeks. Modules 1, 2 and 4 each include a Zoom class with your instructor. The program features a practical training session with your local community leader. A helpful introductory Zoom session assists participants before the program begins.
