Bishop McKenna has invited The Most Reverend Charles Balvo, Apostolic Nuncio to Australia, to visit the Diocese of Bathurst from 14th to 19th December.

During his stay, Archbishop Balvo will be the Principal Celebrant at several Masses, with Bishop McKenna, Fr Paul Devitt VG and other priests of the Diocese concelebrating:

Sunday 15th December
10.00am Mass in the Cathedral of St Michael and St John

Monday 16th December
9.30am Mass in the Cathedral (MacKillop College end-of-year Mass)

Tuesday 17th December
10.00am Mass at Holy Family Chapel, Kelso – the first of Bishop McKenna’s 2024 Advent Novena Masses

Tuesday 17th December
The Archbishop will also join Bishop McKenna, leaders of various other Christian denominations in Bathurst, and parishioners for a time of Ecumenical Prayer and Christian Fellowship in the Cathedral of St Michael and St John, commencing at 3.00pm. Refreshments will be served in the Cathedral’s narthex afterwards.

Wednesday 18th December
6.00pm Mass at St Patrick’s Church, Rockley – the second Advent Novena Mass.
