After over 152 years of dedicated service, the Sisters of St Joseph have announced the closure of their ministry at St Joseph’s Convent Heritage and Conference Centre in Perthville. This site has been at the heart of the Josephite mission in the Diocese of Bathurst, where countless Sisters have contributed to the spiritual life and well-being of our community.

The Sisters’ legacy at this site spans decades of teaching, pastoral care, retreats, and much more, enriching the lives of so many. The property will soon be placed on the market. Their cemetery will remain and a memorial will honour the extraordinary impact their ministry has had.
