In a significant step forward for the Church’s ongoing synodal journey, the final document from the Synod on Synodality For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, Mission is now available in revised working translations. Published in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish, the document has been highly anticipated by the global Catholic community and is available here.

This milestone represents the collective efforts of the Church’s synodal process, which began in 2021 as part of its mission to foster greater communion, participation, and mission. The document reflects the rich contributions of participants from around the world and serves as a guide for the Church’s ongoing dialogue and discernment.

The aim of the Synod, often described as a journey of listening and reflection, is to promote a deeper understanding of synodality — a way of being Church that emphasises inclusivity, shared responsibility, and active collaboration among all members of the faithful.

Sr Nathalie Becquart, along with others deeply involved in the Synod process, has expressed gratitude for the engagement and interest this document has sparked globally.
