Students lead the way

James Sheahan Catholic High School School (JSCHS) Captains Sophia Bayada and Hugh Thornhill came up with the initiative to hold an Inaugural Young Leaders of Orange Summit to bring together local student leaders to discuss issues of common concern.


SRE Teacher recognition

During Mass at St Columbanus’ Church Cudal on Saturday 26 March 26, Lyn Frecklington was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for having taught SRE for more than forty years at Cudal Public School.

On 21 November, Bishop McKenna admitted seminarian Kieu Van Le to the Ministry of Lector and seminarian Ha Van Tran to the Ministry of Acolyte at the Cathedral of St Michael and St John.

Today  St Joseph’s Catholic School Oberon held their Spelling Bee Competition and proved that they have many talented spellers at St. Joseph’s. Congratulations to the following students who will now go on to Wellington to represent St Joseph’s School at the Diocesan Spelling Bee.
