Fr Greg Bellamy EV and Deacon Josh Clayton recently attended the ‘Evangelise’ conference, organised by the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference , at Mary MacKillop Place, North Sydney from12-14 June 2024.

This gathering was the first (post Covid), that brought together diocesan and local leaders from across Australia to share insights and work to instil an increased understanding of the primacy of Evangelisation in the life of the Church, at the local, diocesan and national level.

The importance of each of us living the call to Evangelise was emphasised, with the call to Love God and to Love others being one that, to some degree, simplified the huge task that Evangelisation can appear to be. It reminded us that the opportunity for Evangelisation, and our chance to witness to those we know and love, is the core of what it is to be a Christian!
