Bishop Michael McKenna will admit seminarian Ha Van Tran as a Candidate for Ordination at the 11.00am Mass at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception Church, Carcoar on Monday 9th December 2024, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.

The Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Michael McKenna, with Fr Paul Devitt VG concelebrating. 

Ha arrived in the Diocese of Bathurst from Vietnam in 2018. He spent one year in St Raphael’s Parish, Cowra and later a year in St Mary’s Parish, Mudgee.

Following his Admission as a Candidate for Ordination Ha will continue his formation and discernment at the Seminary in preparation, God willing, for ordination to the diaconate and then to priesthood. Please keep Ha in your prayers as he continues on his journey.
