Diocesan Pilgrimage to the Holy Land & Rome – 5-21 July 2026

In July 2026, the Diocese of Bathurst will lead a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and Rome, offering participants the opportunity to explore the most significant places of the Christian faith. The journey will include visits to Bethlehem, Jerusalem, and Galilee, as well as other sacred sites where Jesus lived, taught, and ministered.

This pilgrimage is open to adults who wish to deepen their faith through prayer, Scripture, and shared community. Guided visits, daily prayer, and time for reflection provide a chance to grow in relationship with Christ and gain a deeper understanding of the Church’s history and living tradition.

The pilgrimage will conclude in Rome, where participants will visit the Vatican, St Peter’s Basilica, and other important sites at the heart of the Catholic Church. This journey offers a unique opportunity for spiritual renewal, faith formation, and connection with others on the journey.
