The Catholic Diocese of Bathurst celebrated on 30 November 2025 at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Orange as Huynh Nguyen was formally admitted to the Ministry of Lector.

Bishop Michael McKenna installed Huynh during the 10am Mass, a significant occasion for the parish community. As a Lector, Huynh will now proclaim the Word of God, helping to serve the faithful within the Church. This installation is the first formal step within the formation process, an exciting journey to being ordained a priest.
