On the 23rd of November 2025, the Diocese of Bathurst rejoiced as Kieu Le was formally accepted as a candidate for ordination by Bishop Michael McKenna. This heartfelt ceremony marked an important milestone in his journey towards priesthood and was celebrated in a spirit of prayer and gratitude.

In attendance was Very Reverend Michael de Stoop, Rector of the Seminary, together with priests, deacons, seminarians and friends from the seminary who travelled to be part of the occasion.

A particularly lovely aspect of the celebration was the presence of members of Kieu’s Sydney family, whose joy and pride added warmth to the day.
