The OneSydney: Together in Christ concert was a remarkable event that brought together 5,000 Christians across two performances at the iconic Sydney Opera House.

Hosted by the Christian Alliance Council and DearUnity, the gathering was a powerful reminder that what unites us in Christ is far greater than what divides us. Twelve people from the Catholic Diocese of Bathurst were blessed to attend alongside Christians from many different denominations, traditions, communities and cultures, witnessing the unity we share as members of the one Body of Christ.

Inspired by Jesus’ prayer in John 17:21, “that they may all be one”, the evening offered a glimpse of the hope that all Christians may one day be united in Christ.

The concert featured performances from acclaimed Christian artists including Matt Maher, Stan Walker, Bella Taylor Smith and Fr Rob Galea, as well as many other talented musicians and speakers. It was an unforgettable evening of worship, praise and fellowship.

The next major opportunity for young people in the Diocese of Bathurst is the RISE Youth Festival, taking place on 1–2 October 2026 in Bathurst. Young people in Years 6–12 are invited to join us for two days of faith, fun, friendship and encounter with Christ.
