The Season of Creation (1 September to 4 October) is a time when Christians across the world unite in prayer and action to care for our common home. This year’s theme, “Peace with Creation”, calls us to reflect, act and live more sustainably as an expression of our Catholic faith.

Caritas Australia, through its Catholic Earthcare program, invites schools and parishes to become Creation Changemakers — leading local ecological and social justice initiatives. Learn more at Season of Creation.

🌿 Season of Creation at the Warrumbungles

Saturday 4 – Sunday 5 October
Hosted by the  Diocesan Laudato Si’ Group, this weekend includes a pilgrimage to St John’s, Baradine, star gazing, dawn prayer, bushwalks and a closing ritual in the Canyon Picnic Area.
Bring a chair, a thermos and a picnic plate. Accommodation is self-booked.
