RISEN: Team Formation –  20-22 March 2026

For those in Years 10-12, RISEN is a great chance to go a little deeper in reflecting on life and how faith is part of this. RISEN is held early each year and participants also receive formation so that they can be part of the Youth Team for the RISE Youth Festival.

RISEN 2026 will be at Shalom House of Prayer, Carcoar & the Cathedral of St Michael & St John, Bathurst.

RISE UP – 17-21 August 2026

RISE UP is a one-day praise and worship event for students who have completed the CSYMI program, an optional faith formation unit undertaken in Years 9 and/or 10 in diocesan secondary schools. CSYMI follows a four-phase model that includes retreat experiences, curriculum-based learning, youth leadership formation, and connection to the wider Church through CSYMA and the ACU Youth Academy.

RISE UP provides students with the opportunity to deepen their faith and relationship with Jesus alongside other young people from across the diocese, through music, reflection, discussion, presentations, and games, fostering community and shared worship in a dynamic and engaging environment.

In 2026, RISE UP will be held in different locations across the Diocese.

iRISE – 9-13 November 2026

Held in October each year, iRISE is a senior leaders formation day for Year 11 student leaders from secondary schools across the Diocese. iRISE provides a unique opportunity to empower Senior Student Leaders of the Diocese to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today. Drawing on the gifts, talents and values of the individual, iRISE provides rich experiences of prayer and worship and other activities designed to educate and empower student leaders in our Catholic Schools to lead as Jesus did.

ARISE – TBC

ARISE is a retreat for those aged 18 to 25 years. A chance to gather and rest in a quiet surrounding, with great people who share the same common interests and are all seeking to learn more about their faith but most importantly, dig deep to discover your personal relationship with God.
