The Diocese of Bathurst’s Walking Together journey continues with the first of four formation gatherings taking place on Tuesday 24 February at 7.00pm for members of parish Walking Together teams.

Following the Diocesan-wide Zoom gathering on 17 February, parish teams are now entering this next stage of formation. The Tuesday sessions will offer prayer, reflection and practical guidance for the Walking Together process.

These gatherings will support parish team members as they listen, discern and prepare to lead local assemblies within their communities.

Please keep all parish Walking Together teams in your prayers. You are also invited to pray the Prayer for our Local Assemblies, composed by Bishop of Bathurst, Michael McKenna.

 

Father, you have sent us here in these times to receive your mercy and proclaim it to others.
In this world of shadows you offer us your light: shining brighter when we share it.
As we walk in this light, let us love one another as you have loved us.
Through Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in unity with the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever.
