Each year, Bishop Michael celebrates a Mass during which he blesses the married couples present.

It is a chance to thank God for the many blessings he bestows on marriages and families in a special way through the Sacrament of Marriage. It is also an opportunity to acknowledge, recognise and applaud the contribution couples and families make in sharing their faith, and also a lovely opportunity for couples to renew their wedding promises.

This year, the Bishop will be celebrating that Mass at 10am in the Cathedral on Sunday 1st October. Why not invite your family to join you for this special Mass, and perhaps share a happy family celebration afterwards?
