The Diocese of Bathurst supports many chaplains across the region, who work either in a full-time or a part-time capacity.
The chaplains minister across many areas including health care, education and prison ministry.
Their role includes providing pastoral care and God’s presence to those who are on the margins of our society.
For information about the chaplaincy team or to enquire about becoming a chaplain, please contact the Mission and Renewal team via email: mrd@bathurst.catholic.org.au or phone the Mission and Renewal Director on 02 6334 6400

In every parish, clergy and/or parishioners regularly visit nursing homes, aged care facilities, and the elderly in their homes. Please contact your local parish for more information about pastoral ministry to our older parishioners.
