One year on from the installation and blessing of the statue of ‘Catherine in the Garden’ at the Cathedral of St Michael and St John, Bathurst, Sisters of Mercy and Mercy Associates gathered for a brief ritual, followed by coffee and cake.

Foundation Day marks the beginning of the Sisters of Mercy at Baggot Street Dublin in 1831.
