In Australia we are blessed to be home to the world’s oldest continuing culture. Every year, on the first Sunday in July, Catholics across Australia come together to acknowledge and celebrate the gifts of Australia’s First Peoples in the life of the Catholic church.
The National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholic Council (NATSICC) is the peak advisory body to the Australian Catholic Bishops on issues relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholics.
Information on NATSI Sunday and the work of NATSICC is available on the Council’s website, along with some valuable resources.
