Recently, members of the Portland Parish attended a Reflection and Retreat Day run by Mary-Lou Green Spiritual Advisor for St Vincent de Paul (SVDP), Evans Region. Guest facilitator was Leo Tucker Executive Director of Mission and Spirituality for SVDP NSW. Leo holds qualifications in Theology, Ethics and Business from the Catholic Institute of Sydney. Leo spoke about the vision and values of SVDP and encouraged all attendees to share their reflections on Vincentian Spirituality.

One attendee said that “Leo has filled us with love and hope, to help us keep up our “good works” for the people we support in our communities. It was a day to stop, listen and reflect, which are very precious “.
