BISHOP McKENNA'S 2019 PASTORAL LETTER 'LEAD KINDLY LIGHT'

Bishop Michael McKenna has released his annual Pastoral Letter to God's People of the Diocese of Bathurst. The letter is entitled 'Lead Kindly Light'.

Deacons Dong and Karl to be ordained as priests for the Diocese of Bathurst

Deacon Dong Van Nguyen and Deacon Karl Sinclair will be ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Michael McKenna, on Friday 21 February at the Cathedral of St Michael and St John at 7.30. MORE

AUSTRALIA CATHOLIC AND MUSLIM LEADRS MAKE INTERFAITH COMMITMENT

Bishop McKenna represented Australian Catholic leaders when he signed, with Muslim leaders, the  interfaith commitment statement on the first anniversary of the signing the

THE RELICS OF ST THERESE AND HER PARENTS TO VISIT THE DIOCESE

The relics of St Therese of Lisieux and her parents, Saints Louis and Zelia Martin.will visit the Diocese of Bathurst from Monday 24 February - Tuesday 2nd March 2020.

CATHEDRAL CAR PARK TO CLOSE TEMPORARILY FROM 29 JANUARY

The Cathedral car park will close on Wednesday 29th January, to allow completion of landscape and construction work to take place in the Cathedral grounds. It is expected works will be completed in the second half of 2020. MORE
