Safe Church Awareness Training

The Diocese of Bathurst will be hosting workshops throughout the year with the aim being to equip individuals in safeguarding best practice.

This training is open to individuals of all denominations from across the Diocese. Those who are involved in child-related activities are encouraged to attend.

The next sessions will be held at: 
 
30 October & 31 October: Cathedral Parish, Bathurst: to be held at Cathedral Parish Centre, Keppel St, Bathurst  6pm-9pm (must attend both sessions)
 
4 November: St John the Baptist Parish, Gulgong: to be held at  'The Convent', Bayly Street, Gulgong 9.30am - 3.00pm 
 
16 November: St Patrick's Parish, Wellington: to be held in St Mary's School Hall (Infant de Prague), Percy Street, Wellington 9.30am - 3.00pm 
 
24 November &1 December: St Mary's and St Joseph's Parish, Orange: to be held at  Kenna Hall, Hil Street, Orange 11.30am - 3.00pm (must attend both sessions)

The cost for this workshop is $35. For members of our parishes, this cost has been covered by the Parish and Diocese. For members of other churches, the $35 can be paid via the registration form. 

Workbooks, morning tea will be provided. Attendees are asked to bring their own lunch (except for evening sessions when tea and coffee will be provided).
